Answer: "My district has the 2011-2012 version. The new release has the exact same scope and sequence for all the sight words meaning that there is no change to the sight words and regardless of which release you are using, this product will work for you!"

Journeys Sight Word QR Code Scramble: Kinder Units 1 & 2

I can't think of a better way to launch my blog than by posting my first TPT item that's now available  in my TPT Store for FREE! The item is a printable interactive write the room with technology & QR codes! I have included the words from units 1 & 2 from Journeys.  The students will scan the QR code and unscramble the letters to form a sight word. There is a recording sheet included! I will be posting units 3-6 bundled together in the next week.

No devices in your room...no problem! If you like the concept but don't have a device (such as ipads, iphones, ipods...can you tell I am an Apple user?) you can print the scrambled word cards (available in two sizes) and the recording sheet. To modify the activity I included the cards. On the recording sheet students will write down the letters that are scrambled and then write the unscrambled word.
